Led the engineering team to deliver Workspace Services, an internal Primitives platform that provides foundational capabilities for product teams across Nike. Managed a core team of 7 high performing engineers to deliver a unified system of services including workflow orchestration, notifications, access control, audit trail, calendar integration, feature flags, and search.

• Managed a platform strategy and execution roadmap that established Workspace Services as a foundational primitive adopted by 16+ CP&I product teams.

• Achieved 99.99% API success rate at scale, growing from 1,000 to 1.8 million API calls per month while ensuring reliable service for critical business operations across the organization.

• Managed cross-functional delivery of a multi-service platform including access control, audit trail, notifications, calendar, feature flags, and search.

Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team composed of three squads: iOS, Web, and Backend API engineers. Oversaw approximately 22 engineers across the United States and India who were focused on building and evolving the Nike Innovation web and mobile applications.

• Directed the development of the Innovation Platform, a foundational system enabling Nike to rapidly create and launch consumer and research experiences.

• Managed cross-functional engineering squads to deliver scalable, high-performance web and mobile solutions.

• Reduced product delivery timelines from 6+ months to weeks by implementing a reusable architecture and continuous deployment model.

• Enabled Nike teams to deploy studies and experiments to gather both qualitative and quantitative insights from Nike Members.

Manage the backend engineering team to build a scalable and reliable set of API services that provided core business logic for the web front end.

• Rebuilt preexisting web application to improved application performance by 10X and reduced error rate by 75%. Implemented Nike Security and Privacy standards.

• Designed, developed and deployed new system architecture & application for Nike’s first subscription service.

• Lead backend, devops, and infrastructure development from requirement gathering to monitoring and maintenance.

• Built SQL reporting tools to support the product and business teams which improved data driven decision making processes.
